The Rockaway Beach

Our Typical July 4th Celebration

July 4, 2023

80 Years of Rockaway Fun! Small Town, BIG Fireworks

With one of the largest celebrations on the North Coast, Rockaway Beach is the place to be on July 4. Starting with our Independence Parade at 11 a.m., the day’s festivities include a bake sale, dachshund races, and a flyover by the National Guard. When it gets dark, around 10 p.m., head to the Ocean’s Edge Wayside or Rockaway beaches for a spectacular fireworks display to cap the holiday fun.
